Homemaker Service

We assist eligible residents with light housekeeping, shopping and routine household activities. This service allows many to stay independent and avoid moving to a nursing home or putting pressure on family.

Service Coordination

We use all means available to inform our older citizens about available resources, make appropriate referrals, and offer service management to help each person we serve achieve realistic goals.

Home Delivered Meals

hot or frozen nutritious meals, Monday - Friday, to a limited number of older area citizens

Group Dining Meals

for those residents who can get out of their homes, we provide hot, nutritious meals on a set schedule, at four locations in the county - Orangeburg, Branchville, Vance, and Springfield

All meals are lovingly prepared by the staff at Senior Catering, Inc.

Exercise Program

Exercise is a key factor in our older citizens remaining healthy and active. A wide range of exercise equipment is available at the Orangeburg Senior Center on Monday - Friday. We also offer an hour- long group exercise class, twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Group Tours

We regularly schedule a variety of affordable one-day, over-night, and extended trips to various destinations for area seniors and other travelers. Travel is a great way to meet those with similar interests and stay active.

Fellowship and Recreation

Keeping one’s mind sharp is another positive factor in maintaining independence. We provide arts and crafts, canasta, beginners and advanced painting and drawing, bingo, current events and lectures, social functions and demonstrations.
